The Hotel Gran Baita owes its name to the hut that houses it, whose core dates back to the nineteenth century. Nowadays it is a small 3-star family-run hotel that offers the typical mountain atmosphere.

Gran Baita is also a restaurant, with a cuisine inspired by traditional Aosta Valley recipes, using the excellent local products such as Toma di Gressoney.

Gran Baita is located in Gressoney Saint Jean at 1385m altitude in the quiet hamlet called "Gressmatten" which offers a unique and privileged view of the glacier of Monte Rosa.
